Music records in CD, DVD and digital phonogram (mp3 with 320, 256 or 192 kb/s quality) format may be purchased in the Web site PlatformaMusic.lv.

Download code
If you have the Platforma Music download code, you may download the music in the web page PlatformaMusic.lv free of charge. Depending on the code modification, it suits for a definite amount of separate songs or complete MP3 albums. The code can be used only by registered users. The code can be used repeatedly until the limit is reached.
It is possible to add songs to the basket from a CD/MP3 shop section and from a music player that is located in each artist’s profile in section “Artists”. Click on the “basket” icon near the chosen song and add separate songs to the basket or add the whole MP3 album to the basket at once. Choose a payment method “Download code”, enter your code, and songs in the basket will be appraised to LVL 0.00.
How to download free of charge?
The free downloads are available only in separate campaigns. In order to download a song free of charge, each song must be added to the basket separately (one at a time). It may be done in the following way: click on the “basket” icon in the album’s track list and the chosen song will be added to the basket with a price LVL 0.00.
It is possible to add the songs to the basket from the CD/MP3 shop section and from the music player that is located in each artist’s profile in section “Artists”.
The free download is impossible, if the whole mp3 album is added to the basket at the same time or by paying by sms.
The toll-free offer is in force until the sponsored song downloads have not been run out in the internet shop PlatformaMusic.lv. An amount of the remaining downloads is reflected in the basket.
A limit of the toll-free downloads is 10 songs for one registered user per day (next songs can be downloaded after 24h).
All author’s and performer’s right payments are covered from the advertisement income, wherewith the toll-free downloads are 100% legal and musicians receive a refund for their job. After the download, the customer receives an electronic confirmation in his e-mail that is commendable to keep in his private documentation.
The toll-free download offer relates only to the music usage only for personal needs. Legal entities that play music in its commercial business (bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, salons, dancing and music clubs, sport centers, etc.) must further receive licenses of copyright and neighboring rights subjects and must pay a reimbursement for the phonogram’s reproduction and public performance. As known, businessmen may settle these liabilities by concluding a contract with LaIPA and AKKA/LAA.
How to choose a product?
In order to choose and buy the desired product, you must click on the menu CD/MP3 shop. You see the music record list that is arranged in a chronological order (the newest record – at the beginning) and where the following information is reflected: a title of a record, a performer and a price. The list is placed on several pages.
In order to make an easy orientation for buyers in the music records range, it is possible to search a title of a song/album or a name of a performer, to select for their type (format): CD album, Digital single, Digital album, DVD video album, as well as to arrange in an alphabet order by Artist, Album or chronologically by a Date.
Detailed description of the record, artwork image of a cover, track list, annotation, will open by clicking on the chosen product. By clicking on the song’s title it is available for a playback for a full length with a reduced bit transmission speed (bitrate).
Audio records are available both in CD, and mp3 format. If the chosen CD is not in stock, it is available only in the mp3 format. After the product’s adding to the basket, please make sure it is chosen in the right format.
In order to download the music to a mobile phone, we recommend visiting the mobile portal wap.platformamusic.lv where it is possible to download Latvian music melodies (song fragments). The wap portal is run by Aspiro Latvija Ltd.
How to make an order?
There are several options to buy a record.
To buy a song (songs) of separate albums in the mp3 format, the “basket” icon must be clicked in the album’s track list and the chosen song will be added to the basket. But by clicking on the “phone” icon, you can pay for the song by sending a text message (sms). A price for one mp3 format song is LVL 0.47.
It is possible to add songs to the basket from CD/MP3 shop section and from the music player that is located in each artist’s profile in section “Artists”.
To buy the whole song album, a pink hyper site “Buy CD/DVD” (to buy the mechanical records in CD or DVD format) or “Buy MP3 album” (to buy the whole album in a digital mp3 format) must be clicked. A price for the whole album can be seen under the list of the album’s songs. The chosen album will be added to the basket.
All taxes are included in the prices. The prices are indicated in Latvian lats (Ls, LVL).
It is possible to unite both mechanical records (CD, DVD), and digital records (mp3) in one order.
It is possible to change the content of the basket by deleting one of the products or by changing the ordered CD or DVD album amount. If you buy the mechanical record (CD or DVD), choose a delivery place (Riga and Riga region, other place in Latvia, Europe, other country) and you will find out delivery expenses and the total price of the order. Indicate a payment method and click the button “Order” (more about the payment order please read below).
Enter the necessary information about yourself and click the button “Continue” (if you are a legal entity and pay by using Swedbank internetbank Latvia, do not forget to enter all necessary legal entity’s requisites). By saving information about you profile, next time when making repeated orders by logging in the web page with user name and password it will be not necessary to enter the data about yourself.
Further you will have a possibility to see your order and information one more time in order to correct errors by clicking on the button “Change info” in case of necessity. It is recommended to print a summary of the order.
Information about a customer and concluded distance contract (purchase archive) is saved to a trader and is available for a customer in the section “Registration -> Cart” by logging repeatedly in the web page with the user name and password.
An electronic “Purchase confirmation” is sent to the buyer’s given e-mail address after the order’s completion. Save this confirmation in your personal documentation. By paying with the sms, the buyer will receive sms about the purchase confirmation. At any time, by logging in the web page with the user name and password, the buyer has the possibility to see his purchase archive and to download his ordered songs from 2 different IP addresses.
Payment order
We offer the following payment methods: payment cards (Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, MasterCard, and American Express), Swedbank internetbank Latvia, and by sending a text message (sms) for a purchase of one song.
If the buyer pays with a payment card, after completing the form provided for payment information, he is connected to the card processing center “First Data” server and his given information is sent for authorization in a chipertext by using 3D Secure system. “Platforma Music” employees do not have access to the information about the payment card.
Connection to the payment system and transaction may take several minutes. Please, be patient and wait for a result!
If you choose to pay with Swedbank internet bank, you will be connected to your internet bank where by logging in there will be prepared a payment order which must be approved.
With the sms it is possible to pay only one song. Send the sms with a given code to the phone number 1827 (service is available only to LMT, Tele2, Bite and Triatel clients in Latvia, it is ensured by Mobilie pakalpojumi Ltd). The price for the song is Ls 0.47 (additionally to the song price, an operator withholds a standard SMS price. The standard SMS price depends on the mobile operator and connection). The song after a moment will be automatically available for the download in the buyer’s computer from the internet, please, do not close the window of the Web browser. In case of problems, please, see a paragraph below.
Delivery order and payment
After the song’s or album’s purchase in the mp3 format, the buyer automatically is guided to the file’s download. If it does not happen and you had been registered at the moment of purchase, you have two possibilities, to click on the link in the confirmation e-mail which you receive after the order, or to log in the home page with your user name and password and to follow the site “Cart -> Purchase archive”. If it does not help, please let us know.
By ordering the mechanical records (CD or DVD), the delivery expenses depend on the buyer’s place of residence, as well as on the CD amount. To clarify the total sum of the purchase, fill in columns “Amount” and “Point of delivery” in the shopping cart carefully.

The ordered CD or DVD delivery in the territory of Latvia is ensured by using Latvia Post service “Express Post”. The order that is made until 1:00 p.m. is usually delivered in the next working day.
The delivery outside Latvia is ensured by the Latvia Post and it can take up to 1-3 weeks.
Consumer rights
Under European Union law you have the following consumer rights:
Right of withdrawal - You have the right to cancel the contract unilaterally within 14 calendar days time from the product’s reception day. The CD or DVD has to be returned to Platforma Music in original packaging. If the ordered product is not available at the moment of the fulfillment of contract, Platforma Music informs the consumer and keeps rights to deliver an equivalent product for equivalent price to him.
If the CD or DVD you bought does not conform to the agreement (e.g. is defective), you can take it back and have it replaced or ask for a refund.
Commercial e-mail announcements
For the first time, when making the order or registering in the web, the buyer can choose whether he desires to receive music news from the trader to his e-mail. At any time, by clicking on the site in the commercial e-mail announcement, the buyer has a possibility to refuse from reception of this news.
